Filming with Paul Martin
Channel 5 visited Larkin’s Antiques and Derwentside Shopping Mill while filming The Great Auction Showdown, presented by antiques expert Paul Martin.
Paul and the production crew spent a full day filming at the Belper showroom, selecting items to take to auction. A clip filmed at Larkin’s was also chosen for the programme’s opening credits.
Behind the Scenes
The visit gave viewers a glimpse inside Larkin’s and the historic Derwentside Shopping Mill, bringing the character of both the showroom and its surroundings to the screen. It remains a particularly memorable day in the story of Larkin’s Antiques.
